A Norwalt Assembly Technician will be responsible for the building, wiring, and debugging of various types of automated machinery. Norwalt is an Engineer to Order (ETO) company and therefore provides unique and custom machinery to meet the needs of its customers. Therefore, the machines that employees are exposed to are always unique and evolve with technological advancements. Machines are assembled at Norwalt starting with a bare frame then built and tested prior to shipping to Norwalt customer facilities.

Assembly Technician/Service Technician, Tampa, FL

2-5 years’ experience in plc’s/servo programming. Candidates to have a minimum 2-year degree in electrical engineering technology and proficient in AutoCAD, MS-Office, Allen Bradley RSLogix plc, panel view, Cognex and Keyence Vision systems.

Mechanical Engineering Intern, Randolph, NJ

Norwalt Design is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering team to design and develop new concepts, improve existing designs, and provide support for our designing processes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist our team in the design and development of new assembly machines, including modeling and recording in SolidWorks
  • Perform testing and analysis of prototypes to ensure proper functionality
  • Prepare drawing packages and assemblies for our customers
  • Support our assembly team while manufacturing and troubleshooting
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to the engineering team
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest company standards, technologies, and best practices related to mechanical engineering design

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems

  • Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, year round.

Service Manager, Randolph, NJ
